Sunbean Television has selected NewsTicker and its Freedom graphics platform for highly-rated
WHDH (Boston) and
WSVN (Miami).
WHDH, the largest NBC affiliate that is not network owned-and-operated, has also purchased NewsTicker's integrated Closings and Elections modules. In addition, NewsTicker will brand both WHDH and CW affiliate WLVI using NewsTicker's powerful Freedom platform to generate native SD and HD graphics.
WSVN is the Fox-affiliated television station in Miami. In addition to NewsTicker, WSVN has purchased the highly-acclaimed Elections module. The station will benefit from NewsTicker's powerful LOGIC automation layer that will power a FreedomSD and FreedomHD, giving WSVN edge graphics in the native resolution of each of their programming streams.

purchasing a new system, they were very specific about the type of functionality they needed

Sunbeam Television Corp. owns and operates three broadcast stations. The company was founded in 1962 and is based in Miami, Florida.
