WWNY (Watertown, NY) has selected NewsTicker for tickers, branding,
school closings and election reporting. Two FreedomSDs will power their
on-air look, giving them the ability to fully leverage the benefits of a
tight data to graphics relationship.
Their Harris automation system will control the display of NewsTicker
playlists to optimize "hands off" operation.
"WWNY may be in a smaller market, but they are progressive and top-rated,"
said Rick Summers, Newsroom's Vice President for Sales and Marketing.
"The design of NewsTicker with its intuitive interface and
real-time decision-making broadcast engine allows stations with limited
resources to maximize our platform as much as larger stations do."
WWNY is owned by United Communications Corporation, a private
publisher and operator of three daily newspapers, several weekly
newspapapers, and three television stations, including sister-stations
WNYF (Watertown, NY) and KEYC (Mankato, MN).
