KJRH Becomes Seventh Scripps Station to
Choose NewsTicker
March 31, 2008

Tulsa NBC affiliate KJRH joins the overwhelming majority of Scripps-owned stations in choosing NewsTicker for their ticker, master control branding, school closings, election reporting and severe weather displays. They will use both a FreedomSD and FreedomHD to maximize their presentation.

"We've been involved with the Scripps group for over ten years," said Rick Summers, Newsroom's Vice President for Sales and Marketing. "They run high quality stations that demand the best. They've been loyal to us as we've continued to evolve NewsTicker and maintain our market dominance."

NewsTicker is installed in 70% of the Scripps group. KJRH joins sister-stations WMAR (Baltimore, MD), KSHB (Kansas City, MO), KMCI (Lawrence, KS), WEWS (Cleveland), WCPO (Cincinnati, OH) and WPTV (West Palm Beach, FL), Florida's most watched station, as NewsTicker clients.
