Gannett-owned WZZM (Grand Rapids, MI) has selected Newsroom's
industry-leading NewsTicker and Freedom graphics platform in native
standard and high definition. They join sister-stations
WXIA (Atlanta), KSDK (St. Louis), WBIR (Knoxville, TN),
WFMY (Greensboro, NC), and WMAZ (Macon, GA) as a NewsTicker
client.
The West Michigan ABC affiliate has also purchased NewsTicker's powerful
school closings, election reporting and severe weather modules.
"WZZM's investment in our full product suite gives them a unique advantage
in that they can leverage existing assets within the NewsTicker suite
when displaying school closings, election results or severe weather,"
said Rick Summers, Newsroom's Vice President for Sales and Marketing.
